Skills every dad should master?

A friend of mine passed along this MSN article on the 75 Skills Every Man Should Master
Though there's some silly (bordering on the stupid/lame) and cool stuff in there, this got me thinking. What are the handful of key silly, fun, serious skills every dad should master?
My initial thoughts:
1. Tell a great story. I'm continually amazed at the power of a great story in business, in decision-making, in changing someone's mind, in capturing someone's imagination...
2. Read people. (and thus, motivate people, including junior)
3. Read yourself. And for the record, yes, I do think that being aware of your own emotions is a sign of strength, not weakness. haha- yes, indeed, it's manly.
4. Throw a curveball and explain how to do it to a 7-year-old. Pick your sport, there's that magic "skill" that opens up new worlds for your kid - the between-the-legs shot in tennis, the reverse-spin move in basketball, the over-the-shoulder catch in football...
5. Invent new games with whatever you have laying around.

Skills every dad with daughters should master.
1. Hairdressing: When your wife is out of town, this is a must. Make sure the burrettes or ponytail holders MATCH the outfit, if not you WILL be ridiculed.
2. Manicures: Just remember to remove the pink polish from your nails BEFORE you go to work.
3. Playing with Barbies: Think of them as female action figures and you'll be fine.
4. Tea Parties: Suck it up, raise your pinky and pretend it's a shot of vodka. Also you must remember the names of the other "guests" (dolls, random stuffed animals) or you will be forced drink more tea until you do.
5. Singing: Your girls will LOVE you if you can sing all of the lyrics to a Hannah Montana song....well.
