Hey,
you know something that might really be aggravating the situation is the mineral oil in alot of these products. They use it as a filler here in the states but it's completely banned in europe. It seems to be used alot in the cortizone creams and almost every soap product you can buy at the grocery store, it can really dry skin out.
My wife has been using the Arbonne baby line (just so you know she does sell the stuff as well) for our son, it contains absolutely no mineral oils, and i'm sure there are plenty of other products out there mostly obtainable at the health food store. So i'm not trying to plug her sales but i really believe that the mineral oils will be an aggravator rather than a help i.e. Vaseline. It definately aggrevates and dries my skin.
