Be thankful the highway is not clogged

I wouldn't even be concerned about the change in frequency. I guess the way I look at it is that the digestive system needs to tone up and get in shape fro solid food. There is so much else to enjoy about a child. You will drive yourself nuts worrying about fecal frequency. Besides, infant poop is much easier to deal with than two year-old poop.

It's all relative. I know a couple whose first born had a fissure. The baby's anus was sealed. Imagine having to go through dealing with an infant with a colostomy bag. You would welcome normal poop any day.
