Loss can come in many forms for your child. A divorce may separate her from a primary caregiver. Her best friend may move to another city. And death, the great equalizer, may claim one of her close family members. All humans must deal with the troubling issue of loss at one point or another.

Play with violence

I could use some reflection from other dads about components of violence in play.  So if the "cowboys and indians" of our era is power rangers or star wars, and--in a few years-- online gaming-- how do you think this kind of play is helpful or harmful?

He theorized that our brains are split between two hemispheres - the left and the right. Certain aspects of our thinking are exclusively controlled by either one side or the other, he presumed.
